[/img]
Given his biography, I assume I have heard his playing on record, and may very well have seen him perform live (given who he has toured with). SG, tell us about your experiences of enjoying his playing. MQ

Ian was not only the original drummer of King Crimson but also the drummer of the Crimson Jazz Trio, a modern day group that played King Crimson songs jazz style. He was a fantastic drummer and, from what I understand, a fantastic person. Our friend the intrepid photographer knew him and his lady well and he was also Adrian Belew's best friend. Apparently the CJT recorded their second album already, here are some soundbites from the first: www.crimsonjazztrio.com/Sounds.7.0.htmlMark was lucky enough to photograph them in LA when he saw them, he did a great job: planetcrimson.net/forum/index.php?topic=1513.msg23175;topicseen#msg23175
