Here's a nice little BBC radio program about the history of prog music: www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/factual/pip/6qjro/It includes interviews with Ian, Keith Emerson, Fish and more. I think I love prog because really, it can be a combo of anything: Classical, jazz, folk, etc. How about you?

I still am not always sure what is prog and what isn't. Certain bands such as Yes and King Crimson definitely are. Others I am not so sure. And I think that is good. Bands should not let themselves be labeled as just prog or just whatever. Play the music that you like and let it lead you where it wants--not where some music critic or fan wants

They're still going at it, too. I just bought their DVD. Best albums are the the Big Five: In the Land of Grey and Pink For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night Waterloo Lily If I Could Do It All Over Again I'd Do It All Over You Blind Dog at St. Dunstans
