I am assuming that most people have at least played both--so which do you prefer? They both do some things better. At least in my opinion they do. For some games I like the console controller, but for others the keyboard and mouse are the way to go. With a console game you never have to worry about if it will run on your system, unlike a computer game. Console games rarely crash. Computer games you can save at any point--only a few (and that is a precious few) console games allow that. Computer games have readily available downloads--not yet for consoles (yes it is starting to happen but not to the same extent). There are other differences as well. Still--I think I prefer console games. I enjoy playing both and will continue to--but if forced to choose then consoles for me ;D

Computer games are awesome when the work right --- the graphic engines are better and the play generally more complex. However... I never got the hang of using a keyboard for gameplay and it really holds me back. I have terrible hand/eye coordination and all of those keys really put me over the brink. Oddly enough, I'm a decent typist, I just can't figure out how I can't translate it to gameplay. Also, the crashes and other computer probs make computer games annoying as hell to me.
I like console games because the controller is fairly easy to use and you don't have to worry about computer probs. Seems more and more game manutfacturers are concentrating on console games, which is a good thing, I think.
