Nope, this is not someone new... this is Tri Yann! Celtic-Breton rock at iits finest. I don't know who the fellow in the picture is, presumably someone picked at random for the cd cover.

... this is Tri Yann! Celtic-Breton rock at iits finest. The official website has performance photos - and they look fairly outrageous, to say the least. Ian's codpiece get-up was conservative business dress compared to these guys. How does one get past that to the sound?? MQ

These guys have a wild and totally eccentric stage show but their musicianship is superb! They are definitely an acquired taste as far as I am concerned, but well worth getting acquainted with. J

;D indeed one of the great (albeit comerciallypopular) band to come out of Brittany- been a great fan of theirs for while and they have been around for almost as long as tull. i have got a recording of a live concert and i would swear on a stack of bibles that IA is playing flute on one of the tracks.... (along with Tri yann, Gwendal and Micamac are good to listen too...if ytou can get the recordings outside of europe that is.....)
