I was thinking now that summer is officially here does it change anyone's listening habits? Does the time of year affect what music we want to listen to? Christmas is the one obvious time of year that at least the radio stations change what they play, but is there any other time of year that certain types of music are appropriate? Ok SG, I will concede Halloween has its own type of music For me when the weather is warmer I like to take the occasional brisk walk and if I am really motivated maybe short jog. During those times I like to listen to fast paced/high energy music on my ipod. This seems more based on the activity I am doing with the time of year being incidental. I will say that when the weather is nicer I drive with the windows down and have a tendency to turn up the volume of whatever I am playing. That is probably as close as I get to changing my music habits by time of year

I tend to break out some reggae in the summertime, seems a good time of year to listen to Burning Spear or Tosh & have a margarita. I also tend to throw in some Dead round this time too, makes everyone else miserable, but I don't care cause I love em & they bring back good memories of time and people from years gone by.
