A question for those of you who have an iPod: Do you play your playlists more often than you set your iPod for shuffle? What sorts of playlists do you have? SG, I use the shuffle function often, especially for long trips. I also will utilize playlists when on longer rides. My current playlists include: 68-72 - about 150 songs from the late 60's and early 70's - a playlist I return to often Oh Canada! - a mix of music from Canadian artists - 110 songs in all JT - a short mix of some of my favorite Tull acoustic tunes RH Blossom - a newly created one, based on last night's setlist at the Radiohead show Radiohead - one created in anticipation of the show at Blossom - 33 or so songs played on the first two dates of this leg of the North American tour. RT - a favorite mix of Richard Thompson - currently mainly acoustic numbers which was created in anticipation of seeing him in Toronto last month Zeppelin - a playlist of Zeppelin favorites Plane - a misnomer, but plenty of songs about relationships - endings, beginnings, and still going. Travel - a collection of 100 songs that struck me one day as ones I should listen to in the car sometime. Peter Murphy - songs comprising the setlist from a recent incredible club show in Buffalo St. Joseph - a collection of tunes strung together for a St. Joseph's Day party (a Sicilian feast day) while in Doha Qatar - trying to please young and old alike. That's the current collection of playlists, but it is time to create some new ones with new themes. And you? MQ
