Ok, it was 80 yesterday which was a new high temp for us. And today---more than 40 degrees colder and it snowed!!! WTF??? I thought global warming was supposed to stop this stuff. I had to scrape off snow from my car windows to drive home. Not what I expected for April 4th! Where is Al Gore? I want to file a complaint...

And when I arrived in Qatar a couple weeks, the stories were of more winter rain here than they had seen in 60 years, with temeratures so cool people were buying up all the space heaters in the country to heat their unheated homes. Just spent an hour in the desert sun and it is negatively impacting my typing ability. ;D MQ We're on vacation for 9 days starting tomorrow and it's freezing and wet here. It's official: I hate you, you in your land of dry heat and sun! May Allah strike your camel with herpes and dry heaves!

Reminds me of a time a few years ago when I was in the upper penninsula of Michigan visiting family in a very rural area out in the middle of nowhere. There was a "heat wave" where the temperature actually climbed as high as 85 degrees. Everybody was complaining bitterly about the heat and there was a run on home air conditioning units. Of course, the heat wave lasted about 6 days and then went back to normal temperatures.
