I have a suggestion. Flatland by Edwin Abbot. It's short and available on Amazon for $1.50. I read it years ago and lost my copy so I ordered another and plan to read it again. It's a brilliant mixture of clever geometric mathematics and Victorian social commentary. Not sure if you mentioned this in the past or not, Stubedoo, but I just ran across this: www.flatlandthemovie.com/MQ Wow! I watched the trailer and it looks like they'll screw it up, but I'll see the movie anyway. I still highly recommend the book. It's only $1.50 tinyurl.com/wgj4t

While browsing the site, further info on the Flatland movie: - total length to be 30 minutes - it will be part of an educational DVD to be used by teachers - it will include "action, drama, and geometry lessons"! - it will be marketed to children and to classrooms Hmmm...I guess not what I was anticipating and hoping for. <sigh> MQ
