Hello and good morning to old friends and new ones yet to be made... Being of wobbly mind, shaky knee-caps and a belly full of Swiss cheese, I hereby declare my presence! Having just made my entry into what I had assumed to be a simple and "idiot-proof" message board I discovered that this thing ain't as simple as I thought it might be!. So after some fumbling and fidgeting I finally managed to (more or less) figure out the workings of this thing well enough to have accumulated two or three unintended nicks, passwords and an assortment of textual cyber-flaws. Anyhow, it's nice to be here!
When the Lady of the Shutter summons... I follow blindly into realms as yet unknown.
Jzero (AKA Stutter Lad, Weathercock, Boris, Cogboot and John The Baptist)
Amen
Did I really put together all this verbal trite just to say "hello"??!!! - Goodness!

Campari is a bitter Italian aperitif made according to a secret recipe originally developed in 1860 by Gaspare Campari in Milan. Campari is the result of a unique blend of aromatic herbs mellowed in selected spirit.
Campari is often mixed with soda and ice, but it is also consumed without a mixer and used in some cocktails. Regular Campari has an astringent, bittersweet flavor, but a sweet Campari is also available.
yes.... I think you'd like it Kelp

Well now... Thank you for your kind offer to join and the nice welcome message. Good to be here at a friendly, no-troll zone! I shall occupy myself getting to understand the format of this thing and then perhaps I can offer some trivial nonsense about something that nobody cares about here and there!
Doesn't that sound splendid!?
Kind regards ZD

Welcome ZD! I can assure you there are plenty of issues that no one seems to care about that can be raised here, and I can further assure you...... that no one will continue to care about them in the future. However, I do divert your attention to some of the more profound topics that have come up here in the past, such as "teeth" and a few others. You know what they say...... profound people raise profound topics Jzero Von Cogboot

Der Cogboot! I have discovered that the Tull message board is down. That event in itself is actually a good thing. The downside of the whole affair is the fact that the IRC chat channel is also gone. I wonder if Ian got wind of the silliness going on there, or did something just go snap and break? At anyrate... our chatting days there are apparently over, so perhaps it's time to find a new IRC server and notify that small handful of folks who we have come to know and enjoy that it exists. I can set up an IRC channel complete with protection, ops and the whole 9 yards. (Or equivilent length in meters for you metric folks!) Let me know how you are and what you think!! 'Till the time when next we thrill an empty chat channel with the sounds of buffoonery! Regards ZD (Aka Zd, aka zD, aka zd.... ) Welcome ZD! That's funny, ZD, because I tried to get into that chatroom to talk to you guys via IRC a couple of times this weekend to no avail.
I think that we can 'make up' our own room on the IRC Afternet. I'm at work right now, I'll monkey around with it at home and see what I come up with. It might be as simple as signing onto the Monday night chat room and creating a room we can all share from there. For instance, if we all typed:
/join Tullpals
we would enter all enter a room titled 'Tullpals'. Do you think this is correct, ZD?
Of course, the only prob with that is that we would all be logged into the Monday night chatroom and prying eyes might be able to figure out what we're doing. What we probably need to know how to do is to establish our own IRC account. I can email Sammy and ask him if you'd like.
I wonder what happened? Seems a number of Tull sites are going in the crapper these days....

Hi Netty! Yes, it's no big deal to open up a channel, although I think I'd rather do it on another server for the reasons you aptly pointed out below. I have had extensive experience setting up IRC channels, as Kyphi and I used to operate our own channels and did weekly discussion groups online on the IRC platform. After I posted on here, Coursey finally posted a link stating the official Tull channel would be back after the 9'th of March. I have no idea whether or not it will be on the same IRC server platform, but in one form or another it'll be back according to his note. Personally I prefer an IRC platform since it doesn't require me to be logged into the official site in order to chat there. After my two year battle with thousands of spam and a dozen viruses and hijackers, I'm in no hurry to give the predators who now own that system reason to find and/or target me again. Coursey has done, and will do nothing for anyone there except for the predators, and the Tull organization doesn't seem to care one way or the other... They can have it. Anyway... shaking off the rant, how is everything going ? lol!!
